Some people have to do things in front of big groups of people. Many of the world’s best artists had to work very hard to feel as happy on stage as they do when people watch them. Even the most famous artists get worried before a show, just like they did when they were in high school and had to perform at talent shows.

Brett Nichols still gets nervous when he has to talk to a big group of people. Even though Brett doesn’t look like a kid, he is still one. But his dance moves look so much like Michael Jackson’s that you might think he is a copy of him. Even though he hasn’t “made it” in the entertainment world yet, he has taught a skill program that has pushed many people to follow in Brett’s path and go after their goals.

Brett’s friends think he is quiet and shy, so they are surprised when he walks on stage with as much confidence as Michael Jackson. It’s almost like Brett had a private lesson with Jackson, like a master class, where he got to pick Jackson’s brain and learn his moves from an expert. In the end, though, Brett and Jackson never got together. He just learned how to dance after putting in a lot of hard work and time.

Because Brett is known to be shy and quiet at school, his friends didn’t know what to think when they saw him going across the stage to perform next at the talent show. People in the room knew they were in for a treat as soon as the music started. No one will sing a Michael Jackson song unless they are very good at what they do. People in the room already knew that.

Brett may work so hard because of how he thinks about things. Because he is one of the “shy ones” at school, he shows that shyness can be shed like dead skin. Brett is kind of like a worm that goes into a shell and comes out as a beautiful butterfly. His friends have also noticed how much he has changed, which is one reason why this video show has become so amazing. If Brett can do it, anyone who has been hiding their skills from the world because they are shy or afraid can do it, too.

During the speed, Brett made a big impression on both the crowd and the judges. So it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that Brett won the skill class.

Brett danced for his friends on NBC, CNN, and ABC’s The View because he did so well in Turlock, California, at the Pitman High School skill program. Brett has also made deals to go on tour with bands that play Michael Jackson songs. All the way through, he is hurt.
