All of this started when Paulina Porizkova put a picture of a person wearing only black underwear on Instagram. “Almost 58? Definitely an old lady who likes to knit by the fire. Well! She wrote on the picture, “I am proud to be the grandmother of five grandchildren. I knit the sweater I am wearing, and I am posing by the fireplace.”

There were a lot of negative comments on the post. Of course, this is how 58-year-old women look when they have a lot of money, access to the best invasive and non-invasive treatments, fillers, Botox, lasers, red light therapy, collagen-stimulating procedures, personal trainers, cooks, and expensive food, among other things. “Even without all of this, I still look like I’m 59,” one woman wrote. You haven’t grown old in a good way, though. Another person said, “You don’t look old, you just have good information.
The model, who was almost 70 years old, was told to stop showing her body. Many people noticed that she didn’t look like a normal woman her age. Spletnik writes that this made people laugh at her when she tried to stand up for women over 50, telling them to love themselves and not be ashamed of who they are.
Porizkova replied to the haters after writing a different post with the worst things they said. “Many of the cruel things people say about me are about how I need to be liked, which is partly true. I really want to be recognized and I like to talk about myself. The responses I hate the most, though, are those that say, “Because I’m tall and thin, I can’t speak for women my age because I don’t look like a typical woman my age.””I’m not trying to talk on behalf of all women my age. How do I? Who, though, could? She wrote, “We all look different, but isn’t that what makes us beautiful and unique?
Porizkova said, “It’s sad that women can’t find the strength to love themselves for who they are because they’re not sure of themselves.” She urged everyone to learn to love themselves. Take care of your body. Instead, they will compare, be jealous, criticize, and try to get others to act the same way. All you can really do is be yourself and live your life.
Paulina Porizkova, an American beauty with Czech roots, began her work as a model in the 1980s in Paris. At age 18, she was the first model from Eastern Europe to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue. In August 1987, she posed for Playboy magazine.

People say that Porizkova is outspokenly against ageism. She posted naked pictures of herself on her blog and talked a lot about women’s right to not cover their gray hair. She disagreed with the idea that “sexuality and naturism are okay when a woman is young but bad when she gets older.”
Paulina Porizkova will also not give up her personal life. The model and the American writer, director, and producer Aaron Sorkin, who went to the Oscars with her in 2021, broke up recently.
